The 78' Shanakee
The Shanakee is a raised pilothouse cruiser with four staterooms, a large salon, galley, pilothouse and a flybridge. Specs include 3,350 HP from twin CATs, 2,500 gallons of fuel, 525 gallons of water and twin Northern Lights gen sets at 30 kw each. Dimensions are 78'0" length, 21'0" beam and 5'3" draft.
The spacious salon has 3 sofas and a large hi-low expandable table which can be used for dining. Entertainment centers around a 50" TV, and a bar with refrigerator and icemaker is on hand. To starboard is a day head. The galley is to port, and features a large Sub Zero fridge, ample cooktop and double sink. Up three stairs forward is the pilothouse, with two helm chairs and a large raised settee and table, that can convert into a double berth. Stairs from the pilothouse lead up to a weather-tight hatch and the flybridge. Stairs down from the galley take you to the mid-ship master, and the three guest staterooms, each with its own head.
From the boarding step and through the transom door onto the covered cockpit, where the built-in settee and table provide a perfect spot for outdoor entertaining. Covered walkways give you easy access completely around the boat. Up the stairs, the boat deck has a 10' and a 15' Noverania for adventures or trips to shore. Launching is simple with the hydraulic crane. Forward is the open-air, covered flybridge, with two helm chairs and two settees with tables. The helm has full control and instrumentation. For docking ease there are port and starboard remote steering stations that let you keep watch on either side. A large barbeque, refrigerator and freezer are directly behind the settees for outdoor cooking fun. Stairs down to the pilothouse are protected by a sliding weather-tight hatch and door.
